The Nomad Hotel DTLA
The former bank of Italy built in the 1930s was transformed into a premier luxury hotel destination. In partnership with Sydell Group and Make it Nice, a carefully curated and detailed in-room amenity program was developed to honor repeat guests, VIPs and to spark joy amongst hotel guests.
The scope of this project included library curation relevant to building history, brand voice, service style development, in-room amenity development such as custom bottled cocktails, stationary made from scraps of excess custom wallpaper from the hotel’s suite closets, monogrammed leather luggage tags, a kid’s puzzle created with an image of the iconic hexagonal lobby ceiling, as well as florals, layering and staff training.
